After breakfast at the hotel in Srinagar, get ready to travel to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers). A British person found it as a tourist attraction in the 19th century. Before that, the Mughal Emperors used to holiday in the Gulmarg Valley, which is approximately 6 kilometres in round. At Gulmarg, you may ride a horse or a gondola. Gondola, the world's highest cable car (14,000 feet above sea level), is a great attraction for visitors in Gulmarg. A pony trail goes up to Khilanmarg, Kongdoori, and seven springs, where the Gondola goes back down to Gulmarg. It takes a couple of hours by pony and longer on foot. You may stay overnight at a hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast at the hotel in Srinagar, travel via the Pampore Saffron Fields to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). People think of saffron as the "legend" of saffron spices since it has been farmed in the Pampore fields, which are 15 kilometres from Srinagar. Pahalgam is a resort in a beautiful town beside the River Lidder. The flowing Lidder harbours a lot of rainbow trout mahasreerto, so you won't be disappointed. The Himalayan brown bear lives in the forest nearby. When you get to Pahalgam, check in at a hotel adjacent to the Lidder River. You may have lunch at the hotel, then go rafting. After that, you can enjoy the view from your hotel room or head to Pahalgam for the evening. Stay at pahalgam for the night.
Today, after breakfast at the hotel in Pahalgam, you can go rafting on the Lidder River. Then, you can check out of the hotel and visit some of Pahalgam's sights, such as Betaab Valley and Chandanwadi. You can have lunch at the hotel or a local restaurant before driving back to Srinagar and checking into your hotel for the night.
