After breakfast at the hotel, go to the busy weekend market (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) where people from nearby villages sell their goods. They sell things and then acquire the things they need to live. Back in the day, everyone used the bata system. Go to the Hand Made Paper Mill, which is quite old. Go to the School of skills and Crafts, where students study 13 various skills that are mostly employed in Bhutan. Go to the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about what a typical dwelling was like in the past. Later, go to the National Library, which has a collection of Bhutanese sacred texts and modern Buddhist teachings from masters all over the globe. Drive a little further to see the Dechenphodrang monastery school and meet the young monks. Later, go on to the Zilukha nunnery to see the sisters and talk to them. Eat lunch in the town and then travel to Punakha, passing the Dochula Pass (3200 meters). If the weather is nice, you can see the highest mountain peaks in Bhutan from a spot that extends over 180 degrees. Stop and wander about the 108 new stupas, then go to the sub-tropical valley of Punakha, which has a distinct kind of flora. On the way to the hotel, take a beautiful walk through the rice fields and the ancient hamlet to see Chimi Lakhang, the temple of fertility that is linked to sacred art of the phallus. Stay at Punakha for the night.
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Punakha Dzong (fortress), which has the most beautiful temple in the nation. This stronghold is a must-see in Bhutan and a great example of Bhutanese art and architecture. Go back the way you came to Paro. On the way, you may stop in Thimphu for lunch. After breakfast at the hotel, we went to the airport to catch our flight to Nepal. When you get to Kathmandu, you'll go on a tour of the city. The Swayambhunath Stupa (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is one of Nepal's most sacred Buddhist Chaityas. According to translations of an inscription from 460 A.D., it is supposed to have grown on its own when the valley was built from a primordial lake more than 2,000 years ago. This stupa is the oldest of its type in Nepal and includes a lot of temples and monasteries on its grounds. Bouddhanath stupa (a UNESCO World Heritage Site): The amazing construction of Bouddhanath is really inspirational. The bouddhanath stupa is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia. It is 36 meters tall. Bouddhanath is the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It is surrounded by several monasteries. The stupa was built to look like a mandala that was meant to look like the gyangtse of Tibet. In the 8th century, licchhavi emperors fixed it up. Time off for the local market thamel.
Eat breakfast at the hotel in the morning, then travel to Pokhara. Many travel authors have written about how beautiful Pokhara is. It is "the jewel in the Himalaya," a region of amazing natural beauty, with clean air, stunning snowy peaks, calm lakes, and lush foliage all around. Pokhara is the best place to unwind since it has the beautiful Annapurna range in the background and three big lakes—Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas—that are quite peaceful. Pokhara Valley is the method to go to the Annapurna area. The Gurungs and Magars, who are known over the globe for being formidable Gurkha warriors, are the most common people here.
In the morning, travel to Sarankot to view the dawn. Sarankot is a well-known place to see the sunrise over the Himalayas. Located at a height of roughly 1700 meters (5,576 feet), it is a very popular place to see mountain vistas. You can see 25 more mountains above 6000 meters (19,680 feet) high from here, including Annapurna (8091m/26,545ft), Manasalu (8165m/26,781ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m/24,422ft), Dhaulagiri (8167m/26,795ft), and Machhapuchare (the holy peak). You can also see the beautiful Pokhara Valley from this point. After breakfast, we went back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we went boating on a few lakes for about an hour, and then we went on a city tour. Devi's Fall, also known as Patalechhango (Hell's Fall), is an amazing waterfall about 2 km south-west of Pokhara Airport on the highway to Tansen. Gupteswargupha, a holy cave, is 2 km from Pokhara Airport on the Siddhartha Highway, which goes southwest from the city. The entrance is just across from Devi's Fall, and the cave is over three km long. There are some enormous rooms that are the size of a hall and other hallways that you have to crawl through.
