Day 01: Delhi

Welcome to Deccan Odyssey! Get ready for a few days to explore the rich cultural heritage of India.

Then, board the train, and settle in as it moves towards the first destination of the journey, Agra. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 02: Agra

This morning, Deccan Odyssey rolls in Agra, the home of one of the world’s seven wonders, the Taj Mahal. Savor breakfast onboard.

Move towards the iconic Taj Mahal, the symbol of the eternal love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. Spend some time learning about the history and architecture of this monument.

Click pictures for memories, followed by a visit to another famous attraction, Agra Fort. The tour will end with lunch, and soon, the train will move towards Rajasthan.

Day 03: Sawai Madhopur

Enjoy a lavish breakfast onboard as the train arrives at Sawai Madhopur. It is famous for its wildlife attraction, Ranthambore National Park.

This was the private hunting ground of former Jaipur Maharajas and now is a world-famous wildlife hotspot. Go on a jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park and spot tigers in their natural habitat.

Then, proceed for a village safari tour to witness the charming locales of Sawai Madhopur and get an insight about the local life. Get onboard as the trains move forward to the next location. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 04: Udaipur

Welcome to the “City of Lakes”, Udaipur. It is one of the most romantic cities in the world and is home to magnificent forts, havelis, and palaces.

First, visit City Palace, a beautiful structure captivating the eye of every visitor. It houses the stunning Crystal Gallery. Next, explore the Old City on a walking tour and spot the old buildings.

Savor a lavish lunch with specialties at a lovely venue. Later, get on the train. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 05: Jodhpur

Get ready to explore the “Blue City”, Jodhpur, as the houses here are painted blue. Munch your breakfast on the train and start exploring the city. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, a majestic attraction.

Witness the priceless relics that display the Indian courtly life. Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum are other famous hotspots. Board the train as it moves to its last location, Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 06: Jaisalmer

Arrive in Jaisalmer this morning. Savor a delicious breakfast and deboard. Enjoy the views of the “Golden City” or “Desert City” Jaisalmer.

It is located in the middle of the Thar Desert and is famous for its yellow sandstone buildings. Maharaja Rawal Jaisal founded Jaisalmer in 1156 AD, and now it is a major tourist spot due to its Jaisalmer Fort and other architectural marvels.

Explore the city and markets. And after spending a day in the desert town, come back to the train to rest. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 07: Jaipur

Welcome to Rajasthan. Today, you will arrive at Jaipur, also called the “Pink City”. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is known for its vibrant bazaars, grand palaces, majestic forts, and warm people.

Witness the grandeur of former Maharajas at Hawa Mahal and City Palace. Explore the colorful Jaipur markets to shop for souvenirs.

Then, board the train as it will take you to your next destination. Dinner and overnight stay in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 08: Delhi
