Following breakfast, the next drive is to explore Dibru Saikhowa National Park, which is the most distinct and vibrant wilderness on earth and is noted for its pure picturesque beauty. Saikhowa National Park is a biosphere reserve situated on the south bank of the river Brahmaputra in the far east of Assam state of India. Famed for feral horses, a total of 36 species of mammals and more than 400 species of birds have so far been recorded from the Dibru National Park.

Breakfast at the Hotel, then drive to Jorhat. En route, see Sivasagar, the historic capital of the Ahom Kings. Here, we shall see Shiva Dol – possibly the tallest Shiva Temple in India, followed by a visit to Rang Ghat –the largest and oldest theater in Asia. It is also another significant landmark in the history of Sivasagar. Later, visit Talat Ghar, which has three subterranean stories (closed to tourists) and four above the ground.
