You will
be taken to the Rishikesh Hotel on the first day of the Spiritual and Yoga Tour
in India after arriving at the Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun (DED)
Airport. In addition to being one of India's most popular pilgrimage and sacred
sites, Rishikesh is renowned for its unparalleled natural splendor. The sacred
Ganga flows through the foothills of the Himalayas, touching Rishikesh, which
is encircled on three sides by the Lesser Himalayan Range. Enchantingly
beautiful, this city serves as the entry point to Kedarnath, Badrinath,
Gangotri, and Yamunotri, India's renowned "Chardhams." Every year, a
large number of people looking for salvation come to this area, which is
renowned as a perfect location for spirituality and Meditation. The ashrams'
calm atmosphere is ideal for Meditation and offers much-needed mental calm.
People travel here from all over the world in pursuit of spiritual
enlightenment and tranquility. In many of the ashrams on the banks of the Ganga
in Rishikesh, yoga is taught and done ceremoniously. When the famous rock band
The Beatles visited their Guru in Rishikesh in 1960, they were captivated by
the true spirit of spirituality and the enchanted beauty of this blessed land.
The Ganga is cooler and cleaner here because Rishikesh is higher at 1360 meters
than other holy cities like Haridwar and Varanasi. The atmosphere of this
sparsely populated city is tranquil and calming. Rishikesh is a magical site
because of the powerful Ganges rushing from the Himalayas with all of her
force, the embankments dotted with both ancient and modern temples and ashrams,
and the gorgeous alpine scenery that provides a divinely lovely backdrop.
Sightseeing,
a revitalizing stroll around the town of Rishikesh, and the Aarti Ceremony at
Parmarth Niketan are all planned for the evening. After that, you'll return to
the hotel and spend the night there.

You and
your yoga instructor will depart for Kunjapuri early this morning as part of
the Spiritual and Yoga Tour in India, enjoying a packed breakfast along the
route.
Your
destination for today will be Kunjapuri Temple. Situated atop three distinct
mountains in the holy Himalayan Range of the Tehri Garhwal area, Kunjapuri is
one of the three Siddha Peeths, also known as Shakti Peeths, devoted to Sati,
the wife of Lord Shiva. The sacred triangle of this temple is connected to a
well-known mythical story: Lord Shiva transported his wife's lifeless body to
the Himalayas after Sati, daughter of Daksha Prajapati, burned herself alive in
the sacrificial fire. Kunjapuri, Surkanda Devi, and Chandrabadni are three of
the 52 locations where the remains of her body are revered as Siddha Peeths.
At 1645
meters above sea level, this location offers a breathtaking and expansive view
of the northern Himalayas, while to the south, you can see the Doon Valley,
Haridwar, and Rishikesh. The Rishikesh Hotel is 32 kilometers away from
Kunjapuri.
The
day's next planned activity is yoga on a mountaintop in the middle of nature
with a yoga instructor. Following breakfast, you will have a leisurely stroll
through a typical Garhwali hamlet before heading back to the hotel.
Get some
rest at the hotel for the night.
Take a
yoga lesson at the hotel's yoga hall in the morning to make your morning more
rejuvenating. After breakfast, you will be transported to Vashishta Guha, also
known as Cave, which is around 25 km from Rishikesh, on the third Spiritual and
Yoga Tour in India. In the midst of the hills stands this hallowed location.
This place is magically serene. Aside from the charming sound of leaves
falling, birds tweeting, and the Ganga River babbling to the Cave's right, the
area is blessed with otherworldly silence. Mythology states that the great Sage
Vashishta performed penance here around 3000 years ago. The entire complex
includes a temple, lodging for ashram residents, and the enormous Cave, which
is initially around 20 feet long and 10 feet broad before progressively getting
smaller to about 7 feet in height. Looking at the Cave's entrance gives no
indication of what's inside. At the very end of the Cave, which extends far
into the mountain, you will see a Shiv-ling holding an oil lamp. The innermost
section of the Cave, isolated from the rest of the space, is where sages appear
to descend in their astral guises from the far reaches of the Himalayas to
meditate.
After
returning to the hotel in the afternoon, you will go to the yoga hall for the
evening session. You'll spend the night at the hotel.
To catch
the train or flight headed for Delhi, you will be dropped off at the Haridwar
Railway Station or DED Airport today.
