Known as the Desert Jewel of India, Rajasthan is located in the northwest of the country. A colorful, exotic state with a huge desert and sand backdrop, where tradition and regal glory collide in a blaze of color. Rajasthan's tradition, culture, safaris, sand dunes, and verdant forests with their diverse fauna make it an unparalleled destination in the globe. The people, customs, culture, attire, music, manners, dialects, cuisine, and landscape of Rajasthan are all remarkably diverse. The four seasons of Rajasthan's climate are summer, monsoon, post-monsoon, and winter. The hottest season is summer, which lasts from April to June and with temperatures between 32 and 48 degrees Celsius. Winter, which lasts from December to March, is the fourth season. This is the ideal time of year to travel to Rajasthan. A brilliant gem nestled in the golden sands of a desolate desert setting is Rajasthan, the country of royalty. The state's official language is Hindi. However, "Rajasthani" is the primary language, with four main dialects: Mewati in the northeast, Malwi in the southeast, Jaipuri in the east, and Marwari in the west. The predominant religion in Rajasthan is Hinduism. The Muslims and Jains are two other important religious communities in the state.
