The Sahariyas, who live in the jungles of Kota, Dungarpur, and Sawai Madhopur in the south-east of the state, are believed to be of Bhil origin. Their name may have come from the Persian word "Sehr." They are considered the most backward tribe in Rajasthan and earn a living by hunting, fishing, and shifting cultivation.

  • DAY 1: DELHI ARRIVAL

    Arrive at the airport, receive assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Half-day city tour: Red Fort, constructed by Shah Jehan in 1648; Raj Ghat, a tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi; Qutub Minar, constructed by Qutub-ud-din Aibek in 1206, the world's tallest (72-meter) brick minaret and a significant example of Indo-Islamic architecture; spend the night at the hotel.

  • DAY 2 : DELHI – MANDAWA

    Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and Mandawa visit in the afternoon. Mandawa Fort, a classic example of the renowned Rajput style of architecture, is situated in the center of Mandawa and features some of the best murals in Shekhawati on its exterior and interior walls with elephants and camels on its façade; Goenka Double Haveli, built in 1890, with monumental frescoes of horses and elephants adorning its façade; Bansidhar Newatia Haveli, built in 1921, combines traditional frescoes of horses and elephants with those showing a young boy using a phone, plus luxurious touring cars and the Wright Brothers' plane.

     

  • DAY 3: MANDAWA – BIKANER

    Hotel breakfast. Check out and transfer to Bikaner. Once there, rest and explore the city. The Junagarh Fort was constructed in 1593 AD by Raja Rai Singh (1571-1612 AD), the sixth ruler of Bikaner. The treasures of the Royal family are now on display at the Anup Mahal. The Fort Museum has a large collection of illuminated manuscripts, jewelry, jars, carpets, weapons, treaties, decorations, and Farmans (King's Orders).

  • DAY 4: BIKANER TO JAISALMER

    Hotel breakfast, check-out, shuttle to Jaisalmer, hotel arrival and check-in, hotel overnight.

  • DAY 5: : JAISALMER

    Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day sightseeing of Jaisalmer: Today, we explore the old town of Jaisalmer and visit the Jaisalmer Fort, which was constructed by Rawal Jaisal in 1156. It is the only "Living Fort" in India, and within its ramparts is an enchanted maze of narrow lanes dotted with some lovely Havelis (Mansions), Palaces, and beautifully sculptured Jain Temples of the 12th–15th century AD, as well as, of course, skilled artisans and ubiquitous camels. In the center of the town is Patwon Ki Haveli, which was constructed by the wealthy merchant Guman Chand Patwa and his sons, whose business stretched between Afghanistan and China. In the evening, we visit the Sand Dunes and take a camel ride. Overnight at the hotel.

  • DAY 6: JAISALMER TO JODHPUR

    Hotel breakfast, check-out, and travel to Jodhpur, arrive at Jodhpur, rest in the afternoon, and tour the local market, and spend the night at the hotel.

     

  • DAY 7 : JODHPUR

    After breakfast at the hotel, we spend the entire day exploring Jodhpur, visiting the Mehrangarh Fort (Majestic Fort), one of the most magnificent and powerful buildings in all of India, the Fort Museum, and Jaswant Thada, a group of white marble royal cenotaphs erected in 1899 AD in honor of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. We spend the night at the hotel.

  • DAY 8 : JODHPUR TO UDAIPUR

    Hotel breakfast, check-out, and transfer to Udaipur, stopping along the way to see Ranakpur, which is famous for some exquisitely carved marble Jain temples built during the reign of Rana Kumbha in the 15th century AD. After that, we continued our drive to Udaipur, arrived, checked in at the hotel, and spent the night there.

  • DAY 9 : : UDAIPUR VISIT

    Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day sightseeing of Udaipur Visit: City Palace, an interesting collection of buildings contributed by various Maharanas (Kings) after Udai Singh & built in 1725; Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honour), an ornamental garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his daughter & the Ladies of the Queen's court; Jagdish Temple, the Indo-Aryan temple, constructed in 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh, the largest & most beautiful temple of Udaipur; boat ride on Lake Pichola, which is made more beautiful by the surrounding hills, palaces, temples, bathing Ghats, bathing ghats, and embankments; overnight stay at the hotel

  • DAY 10: : (UDAIPUR TO CHITTAURGARH TO JAIPUR

    Hotel breakfast and transfer to Jaipur, stopping along the way to see the world's largest fort, ChittaurGarh Fort. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Jaipur. Spend the night at the hotel.

     

  • DAY 11: JAIPUR

    Breakfast at the hotel. A morning tour of Amber Fort, the palace complex, started during Raja Man Singh's reign. We take an elephant ride to get to the Fort on the hill, which is an amazing experience. The elephant ride is subject to availability, first come, first served. After Amber Fort, we visit Jaigarh Fort, the most spectacular of the three hilltop forts overlooking Jaipur city. We return to the hotel. In the afternoon, we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory).

  • DAY 12: JAIPUR TO AGRA VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Agra. En route to Agra, visit Sheikh Salim Chisti's shrine, the palace of Jodha Bai, the panch mahal, and other attractions. After arriving in Agra, visit the Agra fort, which was seized from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. Check-in at the hotel. Spend the night there.

  • DAY 13: AGRA TO DELHI DEPARTURE

    Breakfast at the hotel, check out. Before departing Agra, you must see the Taj Mahal, a monument to eternal love that is located on the banks of the Yamuna River. Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor, constructed it in 1631 as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After that, you will travel to Delhi, where you will be dropped off at the international airport.
